Alex Chaudhry Doctoral Candidate

Welcome to my personal website.

I am a doctoral candidate in marketing at the Jones Graduate School of Business, Rice University. Prior to entering the PhD program at Rice, I was a research analyst for the marketing, finance and accounting departments at the Jones School. Before joining Rice, my projects in the Oil & Gas industry gave me the opportunity to travel and live around the world.

My research interest is analyzing Big Data, from scanner panel data or webscraping, to understand the dynamic choice behavior of households using econometric models; specifically the influence of cross-category dependencies on promotional campaigns, retail price optimization and household mental budgets.
